We are an experienced NDIS service provider and would be delighted to talk about your unique needs today.

What is the NDIS?

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) was introduced after a thorough inquiry into the old system of block funding, the NDIS works with you to ensure that your funding package is more accurately aligned to your future goals and lifestyle requirements.

The NDIS aims to improve the availability of funding and support services for people with permanent and significant disabilities. It is a new disability support program being gradually rolled out throughout Australia between 2016-2019. The NDIS promises more choice concerning when and how to spend government-approved support funds. This means greater flexibility when receiving payments and more power to determine your own services and support.

After a comprehensive initial consultation, the NDIS will continue to collaborate with you to ensure that your NDIS service providers tailor their services to your needs and contribute to your future aspirations. With adequate funding from the NDIS, people with different abilities can participate in society and live an ordinary life with as much independence as possible. Recipients and their families now enjoy customised support services for each individual’s requirements and we see people thriving as a result.

In order to access NDIS funding, you need to meet the following requirements:*

  • Have a permanent and significant disability that affects your ability to take part in everyday activities.
  • Be aged less than 65 when you first access the scheme.
  • Be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen who holds a Protected Special Category Visa.
  • Live in an area where NDIS service providers are available.
